Hello!!!! Just arrived in Alice Springs and I can't believe the heat here!!! It's gone 6 in the evening but it's still 30 degrees!! Had a good flight from Perth which we were glad to leave in the end as our hostel wasn't the friendliest ever! Nevermind though cos the people here running this hostel are really nice, friendly and helpful and we've got a pool!!! Our bus driver from the airport told us all the local info on not taking photos of the local Aborigines as many believe that it will take a part of your soul away. It's so different here as it's so cut off but we're going to take a stroll into town in a mo and have a look round. We've got a 2 day tour tomorrow of Ayers rock. the Olga and Kings Canyon so I won't be able to log in til we're back, so I'll update you all then!! Luce xx
