Today was FANTASTIC!!! We left Dunedin to head to Lake Tekapo and stopped at the steepest street in the world (According to the Guinness Book of Records), then to the beach to see the Moeraki boulders, known for their spherical shape!!! We headed into Mackenzie country, passing Benmore Dam and then we could see Mount Cook and Lake Tekapo which are beautiful!! Just as we arrived we got ready for our hour long Horse riding trek through the forest and around Lake Tekapo which was fantastic!!! Then we got back to the Lake view hostel for our Magic bus BBQ and then headed up the road to the Hot pools for a dip!!! Definately could've done with more time here but it's an excuse to come back eh?!!! Tomorrow is our last trip on the Magic bus :-( . Then we will have reached Christchurch for 2 days before our flight to Fiji on Monday. Christchurch is soooo busy cos Bon Jovi is playing but luckily we have managed to get accommodation though so we're sorted! Luce xx
