Hello all!! Today we had an early start for our trip tp Middle Earth to visit Hobbiton or for those of you who are not fans, the last remaining Lord of the Rings set!!! We looked round the Hobbit homes and The Shire and learnt all about how they built the set!! It was so beautiful, it's no wonder Peter Jackson chose it!! Then we did another tour to Hells Gate where the Geothermal mud and water pools are!! The sulphur smell takes a bit of getting used to but it was amazing!! Then we had mud bath and bath in a hot water pool before having a well deserved massge!! We then took a trip to Rainbow springs tonight to try and spot a Kiwi!!! We were very lucky and saw one really close up digging with it's beak for grubs in the soil!! It was gorgeous!!! The next stop tomorrow is Taupo hopefully to do a skydive!!! That's if I don't chicken out!!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Luce xx
