After another overnight bus we arrived in El Bolson, where it was snowing! We arrived 9ish and there was no electricity due to the snow! We later found out that it hasn't snowed in El Bolson for two years! Trust the Geordie to bring the weather with her! Anyway, we eventually got to our hostel, which was a beautiful wooden cabin with a real log fire, so it was very welcoming. El Bolson has a reputation for being a hippy hang-out and it was certainly worth a visit just for chilled atmosphere. The village has lots of craft places, which we visited before going to El Bolson brewery. Unfortunately the brewery was shut, but the man still let us buy some beers and sit in the bar, where we whiled away a few hours. We spent the evening at the hostel, which really did feel more like we were staying in someone's house, as it was so cosy!
