Saturday 18th March - Spent the day walking around Chawang Beach and trying to book different bits and bobs. It is a really busy, family, tourist place so lots of shopping, Irish pubs and towls on the beach by 6am! Sunday 19th March - Took a bus to Lamai beach about half and hour away from where we are staying. The beach here is a lot quieter but the sand is quite coarse and at the moment the surf is strong, so we cant snorkel. We are thinking about staying in Lamai for the last few days of our trip to really chill out! Walked the length of Chawang beach, which is meant to be the best beach in Samui. However, this means it is the most popular so its pretty hard to find a spot and its really polluted this time of year - i will take some pictures! I sound really spoilt but when you have been to some of the best beaches you get a bit nit-pickity!!! Monday 20th March - Left Samui early to catch the ferry to Ko Phangan.
