Hi everyone!

I know it's been a while and I apologise, but I am living up a mountain with no elctricity, so please forgive me. I am down in Tanga for a long weekend, and so sometime on saturday I will get you a few photos up. For now I will fill you in a bit.

Last friday we had the Amani Music Festival at the social club ni Amani. When I say social club you have to picture an iron fence, no roof, a stage and some benches. It was great fun, Ania and I sung with the Amani choir, and all the churches did a few songs of their own. Radio Tanga came half way through because t hey wanted to record it (!) so we had to start all over again! The week before that had involved lots of fun rehearsals, and getting to know a lot of wonderful local people, not to mention generally having a laugh. It was a real success. Ania, Fin and Nils, the volunteers from Denmark have now gone back which is a shame, but we have ahd all sorts of interesting visitors to the campsite.

I started my lessons with the womens workshop last week and have had a brilliant time so far. They think I'm very funny when I make them get up and do things, but weg et on well and have a great time. Yesterday was the beginning of my lessons with the other girls, which was considerably harder, but its supposed to be a challenge! Next week I start teaching the men which I am terrified about!

I am going to see the boys later at the orphanage, and will stay till sunday morning. Thankyou to everyone who is leaving me messages, thanks for bein proud!
