Hi Everyone!!

Sorry its taken so long but I've been up in the mountains with Tukae, and email (and electricity at all) are hard to come by. I'm now down at Tanga for the weekend with Christopher and Alphan, but I'll fill you in a bit on what we've been doing.

I went up to Emau last wednesday. It took a long time (because the car kept breaking down lol) so I didn't get there till about 8 at night. It really hit me the next day (when I could actually see) how amazing it was. I'd forgotten how beautiful it all is, and it was just wonderful to be back.

The staff were lovely, and remembered me (which is very impressive when you consider the very short time I was there). Rosa and Jolena have both fairly recently had babies (so I of course am having a wonderful time).

There are at the moment 3 other volunteers from Denmark, two of whom are musicians. They are running a music workshop, joining all the choirs from the different churches together, as well as getting people playing drums and other percussion instruments. The songs are a mixture of swahili and english, and we are having a concert at Amani next friday. Everyone is having a great time, I jpon in with the singing with the other danish volunteer, Anya. There were a group of girls my age who were getting us to dance around and generally make fools of ourself, but we had a real laugh and a great time.

This will carry on through next week, but on top of that I will be teaching english to the staff (which I am ever so nervous about, though it will be a good experience).

I came down to Tanga yesterday (I hope to come back most weekends whilst I'm with Tukae). The newest phase the boys have is football. I spent an hour playing barefoot, and ow!! And then again today. I'm actually ok at football (no one tell josh)

We're going swimming in a while, so I will be heading off now. I could tell you all how much I miss you, how I still get very homesick (though I'm having a truly wonderful time here) but you wouldn't want to hear about that.
