Place: Jungle Beach
Weather: Sunny but very windy
I set my alarm for breakfast to make sure we didn't miss it! Cant waste the food you've paid for!! Breakfast was awesome but not as great as the other meals. I had French bread with mushed fruit which was pretty weird. The only downer was that coffee wasn't included L.
After that we went in the sea and met a couple of Swedish girls who had been working in Hanoi hospital as an exchange thing with their University. They then decided to spend the extra two weeks they had travelling through the rest of Vietnam. The sea was amazing. So clear and all sand underneath so you don't hurt your feet. The beach was deserted apart from some locals that are way further down. It is in a kind of small bay with lots of hills all around and is really pretty.
I sunbathed for a bit then but not for too long because I was running out of sunlotion so didn't want to put more on after being in the sea. So instead I went and chilled on the hammock outside our hut in the shade. Basically my day consisted of doing nothing…switching between beach and hammock. I even had a dog join me on my mat on the beach at one point. The dogs there were amazing. When people decided to walk up to the waterfall the dog would go with them and show them the best way to go.
The saying there is that you get extremely fat and extremely lazy. Well its true because all I did for literally the entire time was either lie around or eat. It was time for dinner again before we knew it and it was another huge banquet. I stayed up a little later tonight! Some of the others had gone for a night swim but we went down to the beach when they had finished and just had a chat for a while. It was so nice to be somewhere where theyre not trying to force drink down you or get you to take a mototaxi ride. There's no horns constantly going off and you don't have to do a thing. Paradise!

Gran Jungle Beach does sound idyllic, in so many ways. Only downside would be getting on the weigh scale later!
