Date: 13th June 2011 Place: Mui Ne to Nha Trang Weather: sunny sunny sunny! Our last morning in Mui Ne was just filled with going for breakfast and then going for a walk along the main street, through to the beach and then back along the beach to the resort. Even though there are so many resorts there the beach is still beautiful and practically empty. We walked about a mile along it and saw probably three people. The water is clear and there's no rubbish running through it!! When we got back to the hostel we quickly booked the rest of our flights before getting onto our bus to Nha Trang. We had all individual beds on the bus so there was loads of room. We got to Nha Trang late afternoon and got a taxi to Backpackers House where we were hoping to stay. Since there was a festival on it was purely dumb luck that we actually got a couple of beds in a dorm. We met the two girls that were sleeping in the bunks above us and then went out to dinner with them in the restaurant at the hostel. With dinner you get a free bucket (jam jar) of drink and an fruit tray with every main meal. We then went to the bar at the hostel where we met the guys from tubing (Yanak, Nav and Gav) and since it was ladys night we got a free drink there and when we had arrived we checked into the hostel we got a vouher for a free drink at the bar so we were pretty sorted with our drinks. After staying at the red apple for a little while and playing rummy which I won we head to Guava bar where we met the guys from Siem Reap and then who we met again on our easy rider trip. That bar involved limboing which I did terribly! We then head to Sailors Club which is on the beach, we could have got away with not paying to get in by just walking up to it on the beach but we didn't think of that. We walked back then with the group from Siem Reap.

Gran Hope you've taken photos of the buses with beds; they sound so intriguing. Aha... so a "bucket" isn't what I'd imagined at all, THANK GOODNESS. You can't have too many free drinks... as long as they aren't ALL alcoholic of course. Don't want to be lecturing you on your liver as well.... Amazing how you keep re-meeting so many people, obviously all on a well trod backpackers' trail.
