Had to get up at half 9 this morning to see if Base had room for us to stay another night. They didn't so about 15 of us all had to try and find somewhere else to stay. Seemed like a pain at the time but definitely worked out for the best, there was a really good hostel round the corner. It was cheaper, cleaner and sooo much better in everyway. Didn't have to leave until 2 so didn't set an alarm. Was sooooo nice to wake up naturally, but then we realized it was half 10…. Checkout was at 10!! Rushed out our room as it said if you didn't check out on time you would be charged an extra night (and although we could have happily stayed there for weeks, would have missed our bus!).
