Well, after all this planning and saving, it's finally happening and I am somehow going to manage 6 months away from family, friends and my bed to go and travel New Zealand and Australia! Buying Wolf Creek and watching Hostel probably havent been the best ways to prepare me but I've finally got round to doing the important things and am ready to go, I think! Mike will be putting up with me for the first month as we travel around New Zealand on the Kiwi Experience. We'll start in Auckland and make our way down from the North Island to the South Island, stopping of in Queenstown to get our sky dives and bungees out the way then ending up in Christchurch. Mike will then head home leaving me on my own to fly to Sydney, learn to surf then spend 5 months making my way up the East Coast on the Oz Experience. Its scary, but a once in a lifetime thing which I'll never forget, hopefully for all the right reasons.........
