Got up way to early along with Matt and Ian as we had booked to go on the little sunrise tour. Byron Bay is the most Easterly part of Aus so is meant to be a brilliant place to wacth the sunrise, knowing you are the first people in Aus to see it. Happy St Patricks Day! Ok, so it's not actually St Patricks Day now as I am stretching my mind back over a week to write this blog! So I wil try and remember all I can! Got up about 10am, then strolled down to Byron Bay Beach with Matthew, Ian, Jonty (the birthday boy!!) and Dean. Got up and checked out of the teepee at 9 then headed to the beach with Lauren, Jamie, Zac and a girl Zac had met. Got up bright and early and got breakfast (again, all you could eat buffet!) then headed down to the Spot X surf school. I think there were about 20 of us. We met our surf instructors, 3 guys simelar to the guys who taught me on my Sydney lesson. All blonde haired and tanned, thinking thats pretty standard out here! Got up at half 5! Got quickly dressed and headed down with Laura and Sarah (the other two girls doing the Oz Ex) to the Oz Ex office. Handed in our vouchers and got our wristbands. There were 2 buses as it was a busy day, and I wasn't on the same bus as Laura and Sarah which was a shame. The buses are very different from the Kiwi ones!
