Happy Independence Day!

I feel worlds away from the 4th of July celebrations I am used to. While I will miss the big fireworks and maybe even a hot dog, I am happy where I am. Mutta's brother, Benny, and his wife, Suzanne, and their 3 children will arrive this afternoon. They are traveling here from Denmark. We haven't seen them since our wedding in 2010.

I don't think I mentioned it earlier, but on Saturday Mutta's family is planning a wedding party for us! I am a little nervous because there will be many people here and I am not sure what to expect. However, everyone has been so welcoming and kind, I know it will be fun.

Abella is having the best time with all of her cousins here! They have taught her many things and she has even been going to the stream with them to get water and carry it home on her head!
