Jambo!
We had the pleasure of attending the wedding of Martha and Evo yesterday. It was amazing. We learned some new dances and made lots of new friends. Everyone here has been so welcoming and kind. We feel at home wherever we go.
There are not words to describe the beauty of the wedding, so we will do it in photos instead.
Today we woke up and spent 3 hours at the "car shop" getting air in the tires. Oh and we also had to buy a fire extinguisher and caution triangle since the police require it in every car. Other than that, there are NO traffic rules.
Mutta's friend Jacob drove us all the way from Dar to Arusha. We had a beutiful glimpse of Mt. Kilimanjaro along the way. We also got to try Ugali, something you eat with your fingers that I would compare to thick grits.
Tonight we arrived at Kigongoni Lodge, just outside of Arusha. It is on a coffee plantation and looks beautiful, although we haven't seen it in the daylight.
Susan is looking forward to having fresh coffee from the plantation in the morning :)
Tomorrow is our safari to Ngorongoro Crater!
Lala salama!
