Yesterday I headed out to the Great Wall of China. We started our hike in an area called JinShanLing and we hiked all the way along to the area known as Simatai. Well I have now arrived in Beijing. The flight wasn't too bad except for the Chinese lady next to me who insisted on keeping her overhead light on all through the (night) flight, even when she was asleep!! Needless to say I didn't get to sleep much. Beijing itself is good so far. I walked up to Tiannamen Square today and will go inside the Forbidden City and look around there tomorrow.
