just seen the photos from NY and looks like a magical time for you all. A wonderful way for LC to end her travels. Enjoy the rest of your time and happy new year to you all.

So, my little back-packer, it's nearly all over and you'll soon be home. I can't believe that we'll see you tomorrow; it's come round so quickly. I have read your blogs and looked at your photos with envy and pride at all you have seen and done. I have really missed you and I absolutely can't wait to see you! See you in New York !!!! xxxx

Laura, I just read our little NZ entry and it made me so happy to think back on what an amazing time we had. We did so many cool things and I'm just so jealous you're still away while I'm back here reminiscing. I can't wait to see you in January chicken xxx

WE ARE REALLY ENJOYING YOUR ACCOUNT OF YOUR TRIP, YOU CERTAINLY ARE COVERING A LOT! ESPECIALLY LIKE YOUR COMMENTS ABOUT "FREO", WE WERE THERE WHEN EMMA AND ROB WERE IN PERTH IN 2004/5 AND HAD A GREAT TIME.

Hey mate, hows everything going, looks as though your having a wicked time! Sorry I never replied to you on Facebook we got it banned at work, which is gay cos I havnt got internet at home yet as we didnt see it as a priority considering we dont even have carpet yet either, house is going good though got a new kitchen and bathroom and we're fully double glazed now and got a new boiler, so its all good v.expensive though! You'll have to come see it when your back! Glad your having a good time, when is it your back? take care! xxxxx

Hi Laura - have been reading all your posts and enjoyed looking at all the photos. The latest trek to the elephants in the rain and mud sounded great. Steph & I made it to Chaing Mai back in '91 and I still remember it and the hill-top monastry well.
David has just had 3 weeks in NZ & flies into Heathrow tomorrow; so the whole family has had a holiday! Haven't seen much of our Laura as she has a 2 week dance school but Rob is enjoying being an only child for a while.
Take care

I really enjoyed the last posting from Coopers!
However, I must tell you that the sun is shining today and life is really not that terrible over here, so don't forget to come back!

Superb, Laura. Really pleased you getting the most out of this trip.
Although it does highlight the mediocrity of our lives for the rest of us! Weather here is indifferent. Labour have just come 5th in a byelection behind the BNP and Old Mother Hubbard. Germany have cheated their way to the final of the Euro 2008 final. Only 1 Brit is left in Wimbledon and he's a Scot. But at least we don't live in Rhodesia(sic).
