Eeeeek this morning I was so excited. We were going on a whale watching catamaran cruise!
It was overcast and a bit windy but we braved it and sat outside. The captain made an announcement that it was choppy out at sea and that the boat may be turned round if it got too bad. We stood as the front of the boat and the captain announcement eaves would get to 10ft high potentially. It was amazing - the boat bounced up and and do that much our feet left the floor a few items.
We saw a dolphin but as soon as we did the captain deemed it too dangerous to continue the rest of the trip (we were still 14 miles away from the spotting site) and turned round. We were disappointed. But luckily we changed our plans for tomorrow so we can do the whale watching then instead. We lose a bit of time in Cape Cod but we're ok with it.
After that we both boarded the bus. I got off in Cambridge and did a river boat whisky Kerry carrying on. After that I went to Quincy market, the seaport and then purchased a ticket for a sunset sailing cruise. The cruise was gorgeous. The sun finally came it and the sunset was beautiful. We had to help with pulling the sails up - which was a work out in itself.
After the cruise I went o meet Kerry at Cheers (the original) in Boston Common. I was a pig... buffalo wings (of course), salad (half rabbit don't you know), and Boston creme pie (because I'm a fat b****** and don't know when to stop).
Tomorrow after our whale watching, we're off to Hyannis - a sleeping harbour town in Cape Cod xx
