Yesterday morning I'd got tickets to the 9/11 museum. I'm not normally a museum person but because this happened in my lifetime I can really relate to it. In some sense. This morning we woke early to get ready and hit the pool for our last few hours in Cape Cod. Except by 8.40am my phone alarm was going - a tornado warning. The whole place was a bit eerie, sitting on the veranda, the storm came in and the rain hammered down - but no wind. After about an hour the news said the tornado had passed or wasn't coming our way. Today we left our hostel in Boston and, luggage in tow, boarded the whale watching boat. It was a gorgeous gorgeous day, the sun finally came out for us in Boston. We rushed onto the boat (with our luggage), and got a great spot on the front of the catamaran, hoping today the boat would go, and not have to turn around. It did go! And it was worth the wait. Eeeeek this morning I was so excited. We were going on a whale watching catamaran cruise! It was overcast and a bit windy but we braved it and sat outside.
