The day begins with a stroll along a quiet river and I can't describe how happy I feel to be seeing grass that is not surrounded by concrete buildings or noisy traffic.
Salisbury Cathedral is beautiful both inside and out and I take some time out to lay down on the grass and let the sun soak in. Passing the black and white tops of houses and shops I get a fell for the old England...but not much time to explore as we are quickly ushered onto our bus that will take us to Stonehenge.
Looking out the window I see thatched roof after thatched roof and beautiful gardens that look very bright in the Summer sun.
We approach Stonehenge and even though I have seen it a thousand times in pics it really is just large stones placed in a circle in the middle of no-where. Walking around...the wind pushing me backwards one step for every two I take...I am feeling rather lazy for thinking I would not have liked to be the person that had to move them from another county.
The wind picks up even more speed and it is time for us to leave...heading from the beaustiful sunny grass back to the concrete jungle!
