The day started the same as any other winter day...covers pulled back ver our heads, swearing we would not get out of bed unless someone else got up to out the heater on first! After struggles with the snooze button we finally got up wrapped ourselves in warm clothes and tucked the monopoly board under our arm, with the mission to visit every street on it...stations included! We got off our first bus and couldn't get past the freeze in the breeze this was defini...

Where to go when you have a few days free between Christmas and New Year and you don't want to worry about passports etc... Scotland! After a 11 hours bus trip North and two freezing pit stops along the way we meet our driver for the 3 days and are told the next 3 days will be nothing but 'Wild and Sexy'...not feeling too sexy after no sleep for 30 hours...but hey lets go with it! First stop off our bus after meet and greets is Stirling Castle...where every guy...

So many countries in only 2 weeks, what tired little feet and eyes we have. We stop off at Belgium on the way home and the chocolate sure does taste different :) Not long before 5 we pull back in to the hustle and bustle of London. Our local red buses take us home, where we look at the piles of washing lining up and start to pack Bonnie up for her long trip home tomorrow. The day begins with a stroll along a quiet river and I can't describe how happy I feel to be seeing grass that is not surrounded by concrete buildings or noisy traffic. Salisbury Cathedral is beautiful both inside and out and I take some time out to lay down on the grass and let the sun soak in.
