Next stop was Hoi An....fortunately a smaller more relaxed town only 5kms from the beach this time. Guess where my first stop was? Only after a quick dip in the pool. Crossed the border into Vietnam with Bikini on and sarong in hand...well I thought about it! Spent the first evening in Hue breathing a very large sigh of relief....no truck....yipee!!!!
