Saigon...I never knew this many scooters existed in the world....never mind in one city! Had a mad dash round the city trying to take it all in as well as visiting the War Remnants Museum before heading off to the Chu Chi tunnels and then onto Can Tho and the Mekong Delta. I tell ya....you gotta just close yer eyes and walk across the road...otherwise ye'll still be there in a years time....scary! The War Remants Museum is sobering,,,,,and to think that people actually managed to survive in the Chu Chi tunnels is quite unbelievable. I really don't think we realise how lucky we are....it's a shame it takes visiting a place like Vietnam, meeting the people and witnessing what they have lived through to make us stop and take stock for a second....or a little longer.

So it's bye to Vietnam and onto Cambodia and a truck reunion...canny wait!
