Wow man, I love Melbourne!! We had such a good night out on Saturday!! To start with we had everyone round in our room to have a few beers and wines before hand. There were a few of us there - me, Michelle, Sinead (Irish roommate), Trees (New Zealand), Carl (English), Nian (English) and then later Mary (Irish). We had planned to go to St Kilda but by the time we had left the hostel it was late and we had missed the tram. Our next stop was somewhere rather unlikely ... a strip joint!!! One of the other girls in our room works there behind the bar so we had to meet her when she had finished. We weren't there that long. We attempted to play pool but the alcohol had certainly started going to my head at that point so I gave up! After the strip club we went to a 24 hour bar called The Joint, which was fun and the shots started flowing!! We left there still not sure where we were heading but decided to go to The Crown which is a massive casino with nightclubs and bars etc! We all ended up splitting up as some people got a taxi there and a few of us walked, so it ended up just Michelle and I. Wow, we had such an amazing time!! This was my first time in a casino and I totally loved it! As soon as we got there I sat down and was watching one of the tables. One of the guys asked me to pick a number for him and it won! So then I kept on picking and kept on winning!!!! Eventually the whole table was betting on the numbers that I was choosing! Anyway the luck finally began to run out after about an hour so I moved on to another table! We met loads of lovely people in there and we didn't end up getting back to the hostel until after 7am!!!! Needless to say I was pretty hungover yesterday - you all know what I'm like - so we didn't do much! The furthest we ventured was the next block up the street to get pizza - which didn't go down too well!! Today we met up with Christine for the first time since we arrived in Melbourne! We spent some time looking around the shops in the city and then got the tram to Fitzroy for more shopping! It was cool there though, lots of retro and unusual shops! And guess what we are doing tonight .... we are going to meet the stars of Neighbours - yeah, how fun!!! They have this night every Monday in St Kilda so we are going there with about 10 others from the hostel!! Anyway got to dash as we will need to head back and glam ourselves up for a kiss from Harold B!!! Ciao xx
