Hello!!! Just a quick note to let you all know that I have arrived safely down under - and fortunately I haven't fallen off nor is my hair standing up on end!!! Flights were fine - started off on an earlier flight from Glasgow but then ended up delayed for 2 and a half hours sitting on board at London! Went in much faster than I expected and was well fed and watered all the way!! Has been absolutely pouring down since I arrived here in Sydney, which is not good!! We had planned to go to Opera House and Harbour etc today but it is way too wet for that. We have so far only got as far as a few streets away and are totally drenched!! Shame the scorching sun didn't follow me from Glasgow!! The hostel seems fine - obviously not as nice as the Lowry but is ok! There are the three of us in a 4 bed dorm so I could choose from top or bottom bunk. Was gonna choose top but got a bit scared up there as there were no proper steps to climb down on, ha, ha!! And this coming from me who wants to do a skydive! ;0) Hopefully the weather will clear up soon and we will be able to go and see all the sights! Later Dudes!! x
