Sun is shinning!

After a relaxing few days in waitmate im now back in Timaru, leaving for dunedin tomorow. It really feels like going back in time a little hear, the older style of some of the houses with the small town shop's and dairy's, the styles of the smaller towns still managing to escape from redevelopment. Some areas looking slightly run down but the one thing i am continueing to see is a very clean and pleasent environment through nearly evryplaces ive been, lack of litter, much less of a human impact as you see at home. It took me by surprise just how vigorous customs are when you first arrive in new zealand but and i can see why they do it and how it does actually work!.

I wondered around the very small town of waimate on friday and then spent the afternoon in the pool, it's quite a contrast from home. the sun is still shinning and its really is nice to see how a blue sky'd day can make so many smile.

This afternoon we took a walk down at caroline bay the small beach front in timaru, a lovely little place to see.

Tomorow i will be making my way south, new places, scenary, people once again but this is why you travel not to just sit in one place but to explore as much as you can.
