18!

Waking up in new zealand on my birthday was a first indeed, if im onest it never felt like my birthday, 13 hours ahead of the uk it was a wierd feeling but ofcourse a great day!

I did carry on the theme of exploring and see new things, i spent the morning at the antartic centre witch was awesome, new zealand has a permanent base in antarctica and so this explained all about it with exciting exhibitions all over the center, with penguins and a haggland witch is the vehical they use to move over the ice. They have a small tester course out the back and so i had a ride in this witch was alot of fun.

From there i took the penguin express (bus) back into the city and took a cultural trip to the canterberry museum. I really could of stayed in there for ever, it was incredable the exhibitions in there. All the traditional new zealand culture, the old christchurch street, sculptures, and so much more i cant begin to list everything there....and the bonous saving of the day was that it was free :)! an amazing place witch i recomend visiting!

I took another visit to the buskers again, witch was alot of fun.

The lesson of the day, sometimes it can be very benificial to stay on a bus longer than to get off sooner this being if you and the bus driver arnt quite sure where ur stop is. Getting of the bus i soon got my map out relising i got of about 6 stops to soon.... a half an hour walk followed but i fare enjoyed my brisk walk!!!

dinner out to the lone star was awesome recomend that place....got a free dessert and tshirt as it was my birthday.... a pavlova with a candle in it....not often you get one of them as a cake...very good it was!

Home for 8ish for a cup of tea!!!

ps best birthday present was ofcourse sidney...( most of you will understand what im refering to...mam ur a star!!!!)
