Jetlag!

There i was on tuesday lunch time saying goodbye to scotland once again, i left glasgow airport and the start of the adventure begun. From glasgow the 7 hour flight that took me to dubai. Spending 9 hours in dubai airport, the airport was quite incredable with areas with trees and plants, the 9 hours eventualy passed and i was onto the next flight to bangkok another 7ish hours, out the plain through security and once again on the plain this time to sydney 8/12 hours, resulting in another trip of the plain through security before the last flight to christchurch 3ish hours. Finaly i made it hear, :). I have heard so many people say that its like scotland, and if i am onest it was just like i was flying home. The flights were very very long and tireing but the smile was soon on my face once i arrived. Its amzing how many people you will meet when travel on plains and in the airport. Meeting a lovely pair of ladys who are 2 best firends who love to travel together atleast once a year, in there late 50's but still having the travel bug traveling and staying with friends and backpackers. It often the people you meet who really have an influence on you and they were such a lovely pair who make the most of things still wishing to see more of the world and seeking new and inspiring places. I got hear at 3pm n.z time and managed to stay awake until 8. Its now lunch time hear and the jetlag is setting in now. Taking it easy today and hanging about the house getting used to the time zone and getting over my flights. Will take each day as it comes but i cant wait to start exploring. The trees are amazing, its nice to see greens agaian with all the leaves on the trees. There are the species we have at home which is nice to see.
I cant quite believe i am actually hear the other side of our amazing world!
