We arrived in Surfers Paradise around midday after a two and a half hour journey from Brisbane. We were very lucky as the weather was great. We parked up the van and headed straight for the beach. We stayed for a couple of hours and then decided to head for Byron Bay. Surfers Paradise Done!

We arrived in Australia Zoo after a quick drive to the Glass House Mountains early that morning. They were absolutely stunning and the views were just incredible from the lookout points. We were glad we did it but were quick to get back on the road to get to the zoo before it opened so we could be first in the door! The zoo itself is amazing! We got to Rainbow beach that morning after a 2 hour drive.It is a really nice beach and we spent the afternoon their before heading on again.

We booked into a park in Agnes Water and then we headed to the town of 1770.1770 is a nice small little seaside town.We walked around for a bit and then went to go on our Kayak tour.We took a little kayak out and headed for a little beachy area just a little away.The sun was shining and we had our picnic and wine so it was really nice. We went back to Agnes Water and had a look around before returning to our park.The next day we headed for Brisbane.
