When we got to Cairns, we booked a hostel that would come and pick us up.We were to pick our campervan up the next day so we just figured out where that was and relaxed for the evening.We just went out for dinner and went for a walk along the water.The next day we went to pick up our campervan early.When all the formalities were taken care of we drove off in our new home and went to find a tourist park.Once we had booked in for the night we went into town to book our WhitSundays trip and to book our Great Barrier Reef trip.We also booked some kayaking for the town of 1770.We booked our trips which included us heading out on the Reef the next day!!We then went and did a shop for the campervan and got everything we needed.That night we experienced our first dinner and nights sleep in the van!!We parked the van up the next morning outside the park and took a taxi to the harbour where we boarded our cruiser to go out on the Reef.The weather was amazing and we were literally heading on our way to paradise!!The Great Barrier Reef was amazing.We went snorkeling for a few hours in the morning and went to find Nemo!!We saw some fantastic fish and beautiful coral.The food on the boat was great and after lunch we relaxed and then headed for a little beach.The beach was a little sand bank and the water was gorgeous.A real paradise beach!!When we got back on to the boat we went snorkeling again for the rest of the afternoon.We got back to Cairns about 5 o clock and headed back to our Campervan and decided to get on the road and head for Mission Beach.A great experience!!
