I have an unbroken record of being the first person up. However, it was a sad morning. Our baby cenzontles were on the ground. We think a cat must have got them. We found 2 in the backyard and 1 in front. Claudia decided to bury them so there are 3 graves at the back of the condo.
After breakfast, Vic & I went to the beach and walked to one end. The beach was much less hectic today. The locals are all at work. Then we turned around and went to the local restaurant (Restaurant Playa Tortugas) for some tacos and cervezas. Before we got too comfy we decided to walk the other way to our "private" swimming spot and cool off in the "warm" ocean. There is a strip along the beach that has private residences (as opposed to resorts or time shares) that we marvelled at. Some are attached to each other which seems weird for such opulent homes. There is no space at all between them. We spent about an hour swimming and then went back to the condo to hang around the pool.
I made dinner tonight - Bucatini Carbonara. We sat on the deck until we couldn't keep our eyes open. The sun really saps your energy. Vic refuses to wear suntan lotion and looks like a bright red tomato. He had to slather on aloe vera gel. He said his body felt like it was on fire.
Tomorrow we are going to go to Playa deal Carmen to walk, shop and enjoy the views.

Sev Pictures are beautiful, tell Vic that skin cancer is the number one cancer. Then he will not be able to go in the sun at all, no more cottage. sev
