South America… here we come! : We booked this trip 3 years ago and were heartbroken when I suffered a detached retina and had to cancel just 2 months before we were slated to depart. Then issues with my eye prevented us from rebooking until recently. So now we're finally getting to make this trip a reality. First destination is Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for 5 days and then on to a 14 day G adventure tour that will take us to various places in Peru, including a lodge in the Amazon Rainforest, Cusco, Lake Titicaca, Lima and Machu Pichu. // Hola Cancun: Our trip to Cancun to visit Paul & Claudia // Yes b'y......I'm going to be a Townie for a week! : I'm off to St. John's, Newfoundland with my sister-in-law, Theresa, and my nephews, Tyler & Kyle, for the Canadian National Ball Hockey Association National Championship. // We're going to the land down under where women glow and men plunder..... : It's my turn to fulfil a bucket list dream so we're off the Australia and New Zealand for 5 weeks. We're doing 2 back to back tours with g Adventures (same tour operator we went to Peru with). We will be exploring the east coast of Australia for 2.5 weeks and then off to New Zealand to see both islands for another 2.5 weeks. Seems like a long time to be away but, hopefully, we'll stave off being too homesick by staying busy. // Venetian Connoisseur: Summer is over and we got the travel bug again. We decided to have a more relaxing vacation this time around. We're going on a Mediterranean Cruise with a few days beforehand to explore Venice and the surrounding area. // Exploring Quito, Galápagos Islands & Panama City: We are flying to Quito, Ecador and from there climbing aboard our small ship, Estrella Del Mar, for 7 nights to explore the Galapagos, including the less visited western islands. After what we hope to be an amazing time of hiking and snorkeling and swimming we'll head back to Quito, the capital of Ecuador for some sight seeing. Then we're off to Panama City for 3 days to experience all the wonder of the Panama Canal and the city.
