Today it rained. It rained a lot! Thought I'd come here to escape the rain! But it was still fairly warm, or at least it wasn't cold!
I went out for lunch to meet my cousin Andy & his little boy Douglas. Although I'd not met Andy before, it was nice to meet a friendly face in the city. We went to a place called Jimmys which is in the main shopping street, before Andy took Douggie off to see the Turtles movie & I came home to check out Sunday aft/night TV & do a bit of research into the Commonwealth Games & Queensland Government - first day at work tomorrow!!!
