After a lazy morning catching up on corra I set off to walk to Tenerife, a suburb of Brisbane rather than a canary island

I walked the long way round the river, the way I was too tired to walk last week. The sun was shining & the sky clear blue, a lovely day.

It was 7km round to Tenerife ferry terminal. I arrived around 3, just in time to meet Clare, a friend of a friend who I'd let a couple of times in London. She'd invited me to the Tenerife festival, a street festival with food, music & cider which was a fun way to spend the afternoon
