Today was a public holiday in Brisbane. Each city gets a different day off this week to go to the Ekka, but since I'd already been I decided to organise a Roadtrip to the Sunshine Coast with the girls I'd met on Saturday through girlcrew

Our first stop was Eumundi markets, a large village market selling street food, jewellery, arts & crafts.

After a mooch around we headed off to Noosa. Noosa is a small seaside town, much smaller than the towns on the Gold Coast. We parked on the beach front & decided to walk along the coastal path through the national park. The views were stunning, forest on the right, white sand, rocks & clear blue sea on the left.

Unfortunately there was a 3 hour limit on the car park so we couldn't walk the full route so we turned round & headed back into the town for lunch

After buying ice cream & moving the car we went to lie on the beach. It was around 22oC and a bit breezy but was still a pleasant afternoon

We got back to Brisbane just after 6 so after getting home I headed out for a run along the river - all part of my training for Sunday's City 2 Surf run in Sydney!!
