Day 73 - 21st Mar Woke up feeling slightly delicate, so had a pretty relaxed day hanging out at the hostel. We watched a film, read etc. In the evening we went for dinner at Nandos and had an ice cream. We all then packed and sorted ourselves out ready to get the coach in the morning.

Day 72 - 20th Mar Headed into the city for the day to do some more sightseeing. We headed straight to the museum and cultural district, to the Brisbane Museum, where we spent the rest of the afternoon pretty much aacting like children. Day 71 - 19th Mar - On the greyhound to Brisbane in the morning which was particularly uncomfortable today, but got to our hostel by 12ish. Headed straight into the city centre to do some exploring and find our bearings. Actually quite nice to be in the city, as it seems like all we have been doing for a while is going from one beach to the next, some time in a city will make us appreciate going back to the beaches. Day 70 - 18th Mar - Last day in Surfers and again the weather wasn't great, we made the most of it by going to MermaidBeach and going to the Cinema. Watched 'The Other Boleyn Girl', which was really good, plus Eric Bana was hot so made it enjoyable. Evening we spent recovering still from the night before and sorting ourselves out to go up the coast back on the greyhound again, heading to Brisbane in the morning.

Day 69 - 17th Mar - St Paddy's Day - Had another active morning, as D and I had another game of squash, and I went for a swim after too. Again had pretty rubbish overcast weather so had a walk in the afternoon around the town and along the promenade. In the centre the St Patrick's Day celebrations had already started and there was even an Irish Band and some Irish Dancers in the town centre.
