Day 69 - 17th Mar - St Paddy's Day - Had another active morning, as D and I had another game of squash, and I went for a swim after too. Again had pretty rubbish overcast weather so had a walk in the afternoon around the town and along the promenade. In the centre the St Patrick's Day celebrations had already started and there was even an Irish Band and some Irish Dancers in the town centre. We headed out earlyish to have some dinner and join in the festivities, went to an Irish pub which was heaving even though it was early. Had my traditional Irish Drink Magners (couldn't handle having a Guinness) and some kind of green beer too. We ran into the Irish lads that we met in Melbourne who were really nice guys so went out with them for the rest of the night, heading to another Irish bar and some clubs. oh and I couldn't possibly not mention that one of the Irish guys was dressed up as a leprechaun, too funny!!
