Day 80 - 28th Mar

Again up and active early packing up camp and taking down the tents etc. Plan for the day was to head south to get the ferry back at 11; well this is what we were told to do. Had loads of time before the ferry, so everyone headed to Lake Wabby, which is a really nice lake, but you had to walk 40 mins to get there through the rainforest and over sand dunes. The lake was really nice, had a little dip which was really nice, while the lads played on the sand dunes trying to slide down them into the lake on a boogie board. Stayed there for a while, we were the first ones there and last to leave! We weren't worried though, James had been on the island before so assured us that ferries came every 5 mins so we didn't rush back. Stopped in Eurong on the way back so everyone could get a drink/ice cream and swap drivers. Finally got to the Ferry at 12, an hour late, but no one said anything when we returned the car. Once we checked back into the hostel we headed straight for the showers, we hadn't had one the whole time we were on the island so much needed, especially with all the sand there! All had an afternoon nap; think still recovering from the previous night. That evening was pretty chilled out just sat in the hostel bar chatting to everyone in our group and a couple of others we met
