Day 79 - 27th Mar - Happy Birthday Daniela!!
Managed to blow some balloons and put them into the van ready for when we were driving around, but the morning was so rushed and we all had so much to do packing up and making breakfast. We hit the road as soon as we could, and headed up the beach towards the top of the island called Indian Head. Even though we were the last to leave the camp ground we caught up to everyone, I think a couple of people had problems with their cars on the way. That had nothing to do with the fact that James and Declan went and undid the nut which makes the cars drive in 4x4 for a couple of the cars in the group so they got stuck in the sand! Once we got to Indian head we went down to the beach, left the Irish lot down there and us and the German girls headed up to champagne falls which was a really nice walk along the beach about 40mins. Again it was such a beautiful place; there was a natural rock pool, which had water tumbling into it from the sea crashing over the rocks and a really nice beach. We stayed there sunbathing and having a dip in the water for a couple of hours which was really relaxing. Walked back to meet the rest of the group, headed back to the car then drove down to a picnic area to have some lunch. After lunch we drove to Eli Creek, a natural creek which you walk to the top of and float all the way down. Was really relaxing, even though it was a little cold! From here we headed to find a campsite to set up ready for the evenings festivities, at a place called the cornwells. We all swapped our jobs for tonight so me and murds set up tents and made D sit down and relax, although this didn't last long as soon enough she was down at the beach washing up. Only camped with one of the other groups that came with us, although there were some randoms camping near. After dinner of stir fry we began the celebrations, gave D her presents and started drinking the goon. Played some drinking games with the other group and had a really fun night, even if it did rain a tiny bit!
