Day 28 - 5th Feb - Up at ridiculous o'clock (6.30am) not so good after a night out! Most of the day was spent on the coach driving, these days are pretty boring, we just seem to go to random little places in NZ and get piped at by the tour manager Nathan! Today we stopped off at a random place called Bulls where every shop etc had some name related to bulls ie subway was called Sub-merge-a-bull etc. Helps to pass the time a bit, still most seem quite pointless. Finally got to Wellington in the afternoon, had a little guided tour of the city, which included going up to Mount Victoria. Apparently they filmed some of the Lord of the Rings stuff up on it, not really that bothered about that though. Got off at the top and admired the few although this only lasted a minute as we were too cold to stay any longer! That night we went for a group meal to Blend a bar/restaurant in the centre. Food was average (think my standard are getting too high for a backpacker) but evening was fun. Everyone ended up dancing on the bars pretty much took over!
