Day 80: this day didn't not exist for us!

Day 81: we arrived in new Zealand in the early ours in the morning. After some confusion at customs because we didnt declare our hiking boots and then mikey brought food some food in his bag that we forgot he had we finally made it out of the airport and to our hostel around 5am. We went straight to bed for a couple of hours. In the afternoon we had a walk around the centre of Auckland but felt pretty jet lagged so just got some food and headed back to the hostel.

Day 82: after a good sleep and a good breakfast we felt human again. We spent the day doing the two main things Auckland has to offer, the sky tower and the museum. In the morning we walked down to the sky tower which is a telecommunications tower with two observation desks over looking the whole of Auckland. In the afternoon we walked through the park up to Auckland museum, this was really enjoyable and interesting and even better because it was cheap! The museum has some really good exhibits on Maori culture and history, Auckland's history, volcano and earthquakes and a some really interesting stuff about the second world war. In the evening I went to the cinema to watch twilight: braking Dawn part 2. Very exciting! I went with the Irish girls that we met in chile as they are also in nz for a while, mikey went out for a few drinks!

Day 83 - 85: the next three days in Auckland were pretty dull, but we couldn't start our kiwi experience until 22nd. So we filled some time by walking round the harbour and the Auckland bridge, but apart from that we didn't get up to much!
