Day 49: today we got up early, checked out of our hostel and made Our way to the ferry heading to isla mujeres (isle of woman). Like men and woman the isle of man and the isle of woman are completely opposite! And like men and women the isle of woman is better! Ha! We only brought a few things with us so walked to our hostel. Again it's another good hostel with it's own private beach with palm trees, hammocks and a cheap beach bar (2 cocktails for 50 pesos £2.50). For the rest of the day we chilled out at the north beach, the nicest beach on the island. Later in the evening we went out for dinner and had some amazing food at an Asian and caribbean mix restaurant. After we headed back to the hostel and met up with some people who were in our last hostel and had some drinks with them.

Day 50: another early start today as we had a snorkelling tour booked. The tour was really good there was only us two and an American family of 6 on the tour and the tour guide was really good. He took us to some great spots we saw some great coral reefs hundreds of fish and even sting rays and a sea turtle! We then stopped at an under water museum made up of sculptures on the sea bed. After a couple of hours of swimming we stopped for lunch and then ended the tour on the north beach. We also got a disposable underwater camera so hopefully we got some good photos of everything but we need to find somewhere to get the photos developed. The rest of the afternoon we just spent at the beach. In the evening we went out for some more great food and ended the night back at the hostel with a few drinks.

Day 51: today is our last day on isla mujeras so we decided to make the most of the day and see all of the island by hiring out a golf cart. We drove all around the island and stopped of at a few different spots including a turtle farm with newly hatched baby turtles, albino turtles and fully grown sea turtles. There was also a small aquarium where we got to hold an array of different animals. We then drove down to the south of the island where there is a small set of ruins but have mostly damaged by hurricanes. We then stopped for lunch and had a rest on the beach before going for another lap of the island. In the evening we headed back to cancun where we had one more nights stay and decided to make the most of it by going to foam party at senor frogs with a group of people from the hostel. It's was another brilliant night!
