Day 44: we left Lima early this morning and made our way to the airport to catch our plane to cancun! South America has been amazing but we are looking forward to moving on to Mexico and central America. Plus cancun is going to be our chance to relax and let loose, it will be our holiday within a holiday! We arrived in cancun in the evening and headed straight to our hostel. The hostel is in downtown cancun which is actually really good and safe! the locals are all really friendly. The hostel is great, really lively and sociable. Dinner is included so everyone sits together around one table eating and chatting. Before we knew we had been coaxed pretty easily into going out to coco bongos! Coco bongos is indescribable, it's a huge club with music and djs, and all you can drink bar! But it is also a show with cirque de solie style acts, tribute acts, dance and music acts and much more. The whole night your entertained and surprised. We had an amazing time!

Day 45: as we didn't get back til 6am and we had taken full advantage of the all you can drink bar, we didn't get up til almost mid day and we feeling the effects from the night before! After breakfast we just made our way to the beach and stayed there for the rest of the, sweating out the hangover!

Day 46: feeling more refreshed today we got up earlyish and headed to wet n wild as mikey has been desperate to go a water park since we left the island. It was a really good day, the park was all inclusive so all our food and drink was included for the day, plus the park was empty so there was no queues for anything. In the evening we just had dinner at the hostel and had a few drinks with everyone.

Day 47: we had another productive day today as we weren't suffering from any hangovers. In the morning we took the bus down to el ray ruins that are within the hotel district of cancun. It is only a small site but worth a visit, if only just to see the huge iguanas roaming the place. It was also really quite, we were the only two there! The site is made up temples, living quarters, a main square with a small pyramid and a Market. In the afternoon we went to cabana beach club witch was only £3 to get in and we had use of the pool sun lounges towels and private cabanas! we also had some amazing food on the beach! That night we gave into peer pressure and went to a pool party! Im glad we did because it was an amazing night, with some great people!

Day 48: surprisingly today we weren't suffering from any hangovers but we still had a day for rest and headed back to the beach club. After a relaxing day at the beach we got an early night in preparation for our journey to the isle of woman tomorrow morning!
