Sorry we haven't updated our blog in a while, we've been moving on so much and haven't had much access to internet!
We arrived in Kanchanburi and loved our accomodation-little huts floating on the river by the river kwai bridge. We went to see the river kwai bridge which was very interesting! The day was absolutely boiling but soon rained to cool us down! The area was a bit deserted so walked quite far for dinner, which then involved trying to get home but accidently mistaking a man doing his shopping for local transport! He looked astonished when trying to pay for the journey! We then played drunken jenga in a bar called-no name bar!We all then got attacked by killer bats trying to get back to our little huts!
The next day we visited Erawan Waterfalls which was absolutely beautiful! We imagined it to be a lazy day lazing by waterfalls and dipping in every so often. But no, the little fish ate us alive (they like to eat the dead skin off your feet in the water!) and we soon realised that we were at one of seven waterfalls! So off we trekked to see them all- 4 and a half hours later we had achieved rock climbing, rickety bridges, steep dirt paths, and then we had to come back down! So far the most beautiful place we've been, and the furtherest we've walked- 6 km eek!
Private minibus took us to our stop off destination- Hua Hin. The hotel was lovely and just what we needed after our long trek!We had a pool which we lounged around, and Tom and Jo went in the sea, which was like a bath!Tom collected some shells from the seabed, put them in his pocket and then screamed like a girl when he realised they were full of crabs! Then put a shell in Jordan's bag and forgot about it til we got to koh samui oops!
Then it all got very interesting......
