We safely arrived in Singapore at midday in the middle of no where. Our first experience of Singaporians weren't good as they just shut the bus doors when Katherine went to get on the bus!! After trapsing around for eternity, a whole 6 HOURS!!! we managed to find a lovely hostel in Little India, the hostel staff must have thought we was crazy as we kept screaming at little luxuries such as sheets and towels. After our very long day we felt that we deserved a vodka or two to chill us out. We bumped into two Danish guys who were staying in our hostel in Kuala Lumpa and ended up in a seedy Indian bar with men perving over the women! So we left and headed for a booming club called Club 6, there were about a total of 20 people in there!
When we finally awoke the next day we headed out to look around Singapore, we went to Clarke Quay, a lovely place with bars, restaurants and shopping, just a little out of our price range.... In the evening we went to Raffles Hotel which was very posh and elaborate, we had a Singapore sling here as this is where the drink origionated.
The next day the kids inside of us came out to play when we visited the Singapore Discovery centre, it had lots of games and even a simulator that simulated a bomb going off on the tube! A bit shocking that they had that really! The evening was our big night out that we had been planning since we booked our trip. Singapore has the biggest Ministry of sound nightclub in the world!!! BUT it was closed for refurbishment while we was there, typical! So instead we still managed to hit a few bars, there was evn a bar called clinic which had wheel chairs and beds for seats and your drink came in a drip! was great! Jordan was in heaven when we found Fashion bar which was elabourately decorated! We headed to a club called Arena, when again the men were picked on, Tom couldn't get in with flip flops on so had to buy some stunning shoes which they sold there! They were plastic black lofas..hehe! To end the evening Jordan and Tom did a reverse bungy!
Our final day in Singapore consisted of us nursing our sore heads, eating a healthy McDonalds and packing! Very exciting.
The next day was very exciting as we was flying to Australia, while at Singapore airport Panda bumped into a guy she used to work at IBM with, what a small world we actually live in!!!
