After possibly the worst and longest bus journey we've ever done we arrived in Nasca. Having said that, for us the journey was ok. Machu Picchu obviously didn't have the same effect on Aidan as it had on Steven. There was no marriage proposal. But still it was an exciting and interesting day. We arrived in Cuzco 7 days before their winter festival and they were all going crazy. Everyday they seemed to be celebrating and dressing up, they were having a whale of a time. We had 2 options to get to Cusco from Puno. a) Take a comfy 5 hour bus journey. b) Take a tedious 10 hour train journey. We still like to seem adventurous so we took option B.
