It only took 3 days to go from loving Bangkok to wanting to escape fast. The taxi from the airport had a sticker saying 'welcome foreigners' but the driver got lost and dumped us near Khao San Road. It was only a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Our first experience was of Bangkok was amazing, so many sights, sounds and smells.
