Evidentally quite a large city for South Island but not very big. We were here for one night again and it was raining but we managed to fit in going to a brewery for a tour! It was Monteith's, never heard of it but apparently it's in England! We went on a tour and then got to taste all 6 of their collection, then afterwards we had a chance to get a couple of free drinks ourselves. We only spent one night in Nelson but it was very productive! We didn't do any sightseeing as we were there only about 15 hrs overnight but we did go the centre of NZ (even though I was just told the centre is really off the coast in the sea!)rnFinally I did my 1st full load of washing since Art's, there was nowhere to dry it though and we did 1/2 hr shifts on the radiator for 3 1/2 hrs drying it! Was so nice having clean clothes though!rnTHe hostel was nice too ...

Well the capital!!!! Still not many shops though!!!!!!!!! Stayed up a massive hill!! We went to the cinema and saw 300- was pretty good! Ate some Chinese food too and a Nando's which was dissapointing!! Next day we went up Mount Victoria which has some good views and then the Te Papa museum which is v good and free! Well we stayed in Taupo for 2 nights. The hostel was nice and we had en suite!! Unfortunately it was freezing cold though, I had to sleep with most of my clothes on and a hat.
