Kicked off today with a visit to the Woomera Missile Park which has very interesting artefacts from the rocket launching days!

Very straight drive ahead of us to Coober Pedy - couple of stops and sights along the way including Island Lagoon, Lake Hart, Glendambo. Lunch was at Bon Bon Rest Area, then driver change at Ingomar Rest Area - mum's first opportunity to tow the van! 90kms later and we arrived safely at Coober Pedy without passing a road train, which was a little disappointing - not!

Great caravan park with brand new amenities and camp kitchen, and also finally some children to play with in the great playground - families are quite rare so far.
