Wonderful day today. We started with a great breakfast; all the meals have been wonderful at the resort.
Then we took off to some Mayan ruins at Cahal Pech. It was interesting to hear of the history of the site.

After we came back to the resort for lunch and then some of us took the boat back across the river to walk around Benque Viejo del Carmen. It's a nice little non-tourist town.

A day and a half, and it's been a great time already!

Today there were 12 people at the resort and on our tour, and they are all very interesting.
