A somewhat quieter day in paradise today. I stuck around Placencia. In the morning, I went food shopping for supper. I bought a bunch of things for tortillas. Well, today I left the Mopan River Resort in Benque Viejo and headed to Placencia on a peninsula on the Caribbean. To get to Placencia, I hired a driver to take me via the Western Highway, the Hummingbird Highway and then down the Southern Highway.
